Update on horses

Mr Freedom is enjoying his short break gently cantering every other day interspersed with walks in the woods. He will be back in full training in a couple of weeks and be prepared for a flat campaign. There are several races for him come early June. All being well he will return to hurdle in the Autumn when Marc should be back.

Sabyinyo is having a short break turned out to have a bit of Spring grass and to make sure he is over his dirty scopes. It will also give him time to grow into his big frame. Exciting times ahead with him.

Alexandra Romanov coughed a couple of times after she did some fast work last Friday so she will join Sabyinyo out in the paddocks for 4 to 6 weeks.

Agent Saonois has a couple of entries in May when hopefully he will get suitable ground. The 1st is the 5.45 at Southwell on 15th May. The race is a 0-100 Novice Handicap Chase Over a distance of 2m 4f.

The 2nd is the 1.40 at Worcester on 17th May. The race is a 0-105 Handicap Chase over a distance of 2m 4f.

Hopefully he settles better pre race and runs a race.

Spitfire Bridge is settling well into his new surroundings with a couple of Sheena's newly arrived Mick Channon 3-y-o's. They go on the walker daily and will step up to full training in 2 to 3 weeks.

Foals and mares are coming along nicely.

Angela's Hope has been covered by Gentlewave and Ann's Emerald Reel has been covered by Logician. Hopefully they have 2 nice foals in the Spring of 2024.

A Tickatickatiming ran a cracking race at Plumpton on Sunday finishing 2nd beaten by 1/2 a length. She has come out of her race well and will return to Plumpton on Sunday, 14th May.
